Mackintosh LTC – Return to Tennis – 13/07/20
Following the latest Welsh Government announcement, we are pleased to update you with some changes to our club rules from Monday 13th July 2020.
The club committee have put in place safety measures and rules to ensure members and families are able to return to playing tennis at the club in a safe environment.
To access the courts all members MUST have paid their membership fees for the 2020/21 membership year. To compensate for the 3 and a half months that we have lost (April, May, June & July) we would like to offer the following options:
- Pay Full Fee for 2020/21 membership year, but receive a 33% discount for the 2021/22 membership year
- Pay a pro-rata fee for the remainder of the 2020/21 membership year

Online Court Booking System
We have had some very positive feedback on our new online court booking system. To be able to use the courts, members MUST book in advance using our online court booking system at:
Please note – this does not apply if you are attending an organised session e.g. Coaching, Social Tennis etc.
There is also a ‘ClubSpark Booker’ App which can be downloaded from the App Store, so that you can book courts easily from your mobile devices.
Members are politely asked to be courteous to others when booking courts i.e. not booking the same time every day (particularly during busier times on evenings and weekends). Please only book a court if you are 100% going to be there. Any members found booking courts and not showing up may lose their right to book courts in the future.
Clubs Licensed Bar Open (Outdoors)
From Monday 13th August, the Club Steward Neil Edwards will be re-opening the clubs licensed bar with a selection of drinks and refreshments available for members to purchase and enjoy outdoors. Enjoying a drink with your tennis partner/opponents after a game is all part of the strong social aspect of our club experience. Please show your support to Neil who is looking forward to welcoming you back to the club.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming more members back to the club. We want to reassure members that we have thoroughly followed the guidelines from the Welsh Government and the LTA/Tennis Wales to ensure the club is as safe as possible for members to return to tennis.
If you have any questions or concerns, please get in contact with Head Coach Rhys Morgan at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
